SUMMARY:Bridge Wednesday: Workshop Series at Togethering Place
DESCRIPTION:Theme: Sociocracy and Consent Decision Making\nFacilitator: Randall\nLocation: The Togethering Space\nTime: 11:11am – 1:11pm \nHello Beautiful Diamonds. For this Workshop we will take opportunity to review the main aspects of Sociocracy and will review and go through an exercise of Consent Decision Making. \nOn this Workshop we will review on Consent Decision Making process which represents closely the Sociocratic Principle of Equivalence\, where we involve people in making and evolving decisions that affect them\, so that we increase our engagement and accountability\, and make use of the distributed intelligence towards achieving and evolving our objectives. \nSociocracy can be translated as “Power of the Companions”. It is a social technology for evolving agile and resilient organizations of any size and has proven to be effective for many organizations and communities around the world. \nSociocracy is a great way to promote Empowered Participation for our Collective. As we build interdependent systems\, the fitness comes from contributing to the health of the whole. The quality of Empowered Participation means that all parts must be “in relationship” with the larger whole in ways that empower them to negotiate for their own needs and also enable them to add their unique contribution towards the health and well-being of the larger wholes in which they are embedded. \nAs there are various “flavors” of Sociocracy. I will rely on resources from Sociocracy 3.0 (https://sociocracy30.org/_res/practical-guide/S3-practical-guide.pdf) for this workshop.

SUMMARY:Syntropic Plant Walk @ Diamante Luz
DESCRIPTION:Come join for a guided Syntropic Plant Walk @ Dluz!  10-20mil donation suggested- funds generated go towards improvements at Diamante Luz regenerative living center =)   Stay for Taco Tuesday afterward from 5:30-9pm. \n_______________________________ \n(excerpt from lifeinsyntropy.org) \nThe word syntropy\, as contrasted to entropy\, paints a powerful picture of a system that accumulates matter and energy\, becoming more complex over time\, all in order to create abundance. It is a form of process based agriculture\, as opposed to input based agriculture\, typical to industrial systems. \nSyntropic Farming is an innovative approach to regenerative agriculture which allows us to create dynamic\, successional\, and economically viable ecosystems that restore degraded soil biodiversity. By understanding and respecting nature’s complex system\, Syntropic Farming imitates the natural regeneration of forests and provides a harmonious integration of our food production systems. \nSyntropic farming seeks to Maximize Photosynthesis by laying out trees rows from North to South. This is the primary design layout strategy\, as opposed to managing for water through exclusively using contour planting. In addition this is achieved by an extremely high density of planting
