To come together this Saturday for another powerful day of beach cleanup and Silent Disco! \nWe want to deeply thank every soul who showed up last Saturday. Your energy\, your hands\, and your hearts made a real difference. Together\, we removed bags of microplastics and trash that would have otherwise harmed marine life\, polluted our sacred coastline\, and been carried further by the tides. \nBut our work isn’t over. \nThis movement isn’t just about cleaning up\, t’s about reclaiming our connection to the Earth. It’s about reminding ourselves that we are not separate from nature. It’s about creating community\, taking responsibility\, and celebrating life while we do it. \nOur beaches are suffering too\, we are not excluded from the pollution\, and without cleanups\, the pollution only grows. There are no proper trash systems in many areas (we are working on it)\, and we must become the solution. That’s why we show up. That’s why we dance. \n🌊 Let’s move in rhythm with nature. This is a key moment to make your voice heard and support a transparent\, inclusive decision-making process that reflects the values we share. \nWe’ll begin at 3:30 PM with our DBC General Circle\, where we’ll:• Share updates on community projects• Present new proposals for advice• Discuss challenges\, opportunities\, and shared priorities \nHighlights for this first gathering include: \n\nA Funding Update related to the Commons\nNews from the Coliazul Children’s Program\nProgress on the new Welcome Wall using rammed earth construction\nDiscussion on the Membership Review Process for 2025 roles\n\nAt 5:00 PM\, we open the next chapter with a bilingual (Spanish/English) Language Salon following a short Opening Circle.
