DESCRIPTION:Immerse yourself in permaculture\, community living\, syntropic farming and natural building in paradise.\nWe are developing an intercultural project in the farm and we welcome you to start the foundations with us\nFebruary 13th – 22nd\, 2023\nAt Diamante Luz Farm\nSan Salvador de Barú\, Pérez Zeledón\, San José\, Costa Rica\nWhat will we be doing?\nThrough concepts of natural building\, we will build a Rancho in our farm applying indigenous ways of the Boruca people – native tribe from Costa Rica – the materials will be mostly bamboo and palm leaves. \nWe will also build a compost bathroom and a shower. Through this course there will be workshops on different topics such as: \n– Permaculture\n– Natural building\n– Regenerative Community living\n– Syntropic agriculture\n– Recycling\n– Reducing carbon footprint and environmental impact\n– Grey Water Filters\n– Non-Violent Communication workshop\n– Optional yoga and massage\n– Herbalism + medicine making\n– Plant knowledge and identification\n– Communal living and simple living\n– Indigenous and colonial history of Costa Rica\n– Authentic movement\n– Personal energy sovereignty \nThe experience also includes:\n– 2 Taco Tuesday nights and Cacao Ceremonies\n– 2 Waterfall Tours \nAccomodation options:\nTent on the land – $444 – $666 *\n\nTent provided or bring your own.\nAll meals and activities.\nStay on the land for 9 days.\n\nJungle Private Dorm – $666 – $777 *\n\nStay on one of our community spaces on private or shared room depending on availability for 9 days.\nAll meals and activities.\n\nFairy House Bamboo Platform – $888 *\n\nStay on one of our community spaces on private or shared room depending on availability for 9 days.\nAll meals and activities.\n\nWork exchange opportunity *\n\n2 work exchange opportunities available for cooking + organizing + cleaning.
